Eat Healthy:
Eating a healthy diet doesn’t mean chewing on cardboard and nibbling on greens. It’s not drinking a Dutch chocolate meal in an 8 ounce can, or eating a meal “replacement” bar. Food is a source of pleasure, boredom, addiction, and emotions rolled into one big meal.
Eating healthy and exercising regularly boosts energy levels and gives you passion for all of the people and things you love most in your life.
Success in eating well is like anything else. It takes patience, practice and purpose. If you don’t see the value in eating healthy and being active, you WILL FAIL.
Plan:
“Failing to Plan is Planning to Fail”. You have planned your whole life. College, career, wedding, children, vacations, retirement, travel. What is your plan to live a long, healthy and active life? Plan and commit to whole foods. If you can’t identify it, don’t eat it. An apple is an apple. Not apple pie, apple fritters or apple butter.
Get Moving:
Get up and get moving!
And, next year, instead of margaritas at Tex Mex, your facebook status will read, “It’s my birthday, lets meet at the park for a nice long run.”
Before beginning any exercise or nutrition program consult your doctor or physician.
